I have two things to say about seafood bisque. First, wow, it’s delicious. Probably my favorite soup. I can’t imagine seeing seafood bisque on a menu and not ordering it. In fact, I want some right now, although conditions are not conducive to obtaining any at this moment. Grrrr.
Second, wait a minute. Just “seafood”? Couldn’t we be a trifle more specific? I mean, pretty much any type of seafood bisque is great, but shrimp bisque is extra good, and the gold standard is of course lobster bisque. The type of seafood is pretty important. You don’t want to yada yada that.
