I am acquainted with people who are quite fond of (and reasonably good at) poker, but I am not such a person. On the rare occasion that I play any sort of card game, I lean toward ones with much simpler rules and less nail-biting strategy. Like blackjack, or Uno, or better yet, solitaire. There’s also Cards Against Humanity (“a party game for horrible people”), which is easy to learn, fun to play, and made by people who (contrary to the game’s name) are very much supportive of humanity. Whatever sort of card game strikes your fancy, enjoy a hand or ten today.
