As I’ve mentioned here on several occasions, many holidays and pseudo-holidays occur during December, and I am as content to wish you a Happy Solstice or Happy Festivus as a Merry Christmas. But even though most of the December holidays are arbitrary and excessively commercial, today we mark one that has a special significance for me, because it celebrates the birth of someone who changed my life: my wife. Today’s her birthday—she’s [REDACTED] years old today. Happy Birthday, Morgen!
Oh, and also, lest we forget, we celebrate another holiday today. It’s No “L” Day, because puns. See how long you can go without using the letter L!
