On November 24, 1859, Charles Darwin published On the Origin of Species, introducing the world to the science of evolution by natural selection. Ever since, people have been infuriated that someone would have the audacity to notice the observable facts of nature, form logical conclusions based on them, and report all this to the world. The rest of us celebrate today as Evolution Day. Look, we’re all mutants, OK?
